T-shirt: The Ragged Priest | Dress: Urban Outfitters | Jeans: Dr Denim | Sneakers: Nike

I tend to find it hard to dress up in the middle of winter because actually being warm is a high priority of mine. This outfit really caters to a comfy, warm but interesting look. The long jeans keep your legs warm and with a leather or bomber jacket on top it is a perfect going out outfit for the colder months! Not to mention having a shimmery dress over the top of a jeans and t-shirt outfit really adds a point of interest.

Metallic and Mesh

Dress: The Ragged Priest | Shorts: Bloch | Bralette: Bonds | Sneakers: Puma | Clutch: Poppy Lissiman | Pom Pom: Furla (Italy)

This pink mesh dress is a favourite of mine for nights out clubbing or going to a concert. Its subtle sparkle and the addition of the applique patch gives the outfit a glam street feel. I love pairing it with my metallic clutch for an all out look!

September Favourites

Laura Mercier

I have been on the hunt for a super light coverage foundation to wear when I want a bit more coverage than just my daily powder and I have finally found the perfect one! I am absolutely in love with my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser – Oil Free. It literally feels like nothing on the skin (I hate feeling like I’m wearing makeup), makes your skin look beautiful and is very long lasting!

I bought the Translucent Loose Setting Powder at the same time and while it took some getting used to, I now love it. I learnt through trial and error that only the slightest amount of powder is necessary otherwise it leaves a white cast!

Allday Concert and Jumper

Allday is an amazing Australian rapper and one of my all time favourite artists. He toured this month and it was phenomenal! I saw him earlier this year at a festival where he had a shorter set so it was great to see him doing a full length show. Not only was his concert amazing, I bought his tour sweatshirt which is the most comfortable jumper of my life and I have been wearing it non-stop. And to top it all off, my friends and I ran into him outside after the show!

Mount Ninji and Da Nice Time Kid by Die Antwoord

Die Antwoord have release a lot of new music in the past few months with their mixtape Suck On This being released in May and 4th album Mount Ninji and Da Nice Time Kid released in September. Their new album has to be the weirdest of them all and I’m loving it! I definitely get freak show vibes with songs like Rats Rule and many songs have an American sound, with influences coming from living in LA and working with DJ Muggs from Cyprus Hill. I have loved listening to this album from start to finish many times!

TV: American Horror Story and Scream Queens

Two of my favourite TV shows are finally back on! Season 6 of American Horror Story is shaping up to be a really good one, I was hooked after the first episode! If you like really good horror/thriller/suspense shows, AHS is for you!

Scream Queens on the other hand is more of a comedy/horror show. This season features actors like John Stamos and Taylor Lautner, joining an already fabulous cast for a killer season, now set in a hospital.

Mesh

I have been crazy about mesh anything for a couple months now and I have worn these two latest purchases all month and I’m still loving them. Again, they are from my favourite brand The Ragged Priest. I feel like I never stop talking about them but I can’t help it!

Poppy Lissiman, The Ragged Priest + More Haul

Spring has begun and I had a bit of a Spring shopping spree so I thought I’d share some of my purchases!

Fancy Pants

I bought a couple pairs of jeans and pants from Topshop and Liquor and Poker this month. I have been loving embroidery on jeans lately and these two have been perfect for my casual looks. I also bought a pair of dress pants from Topshop. I wanted something nice to wear out for dinner that wasn’t jeans so I thought these would be perfect!

Accessorise

I have wanted this Poppy Lissiman clutch bag for months and I am so glad that I finally got it! It is the perfect going out bag and I will definitely get a lot of use out of it.

I also have been looking for some dainty earrings and these earrings from Curated Wholesale have been perfect for dressing up my outfits.

Mesh + Appliqué

The Ragged Priest was part of my June Favourites and is still one of my favourite brands. This dress looks amazing over a bralette and shorts or bloomers for an edgy but cute look and the top can be worn casually with jeans. And my order even came with this cute fortune cookie!

I can’t wait to style these soon!

Jumper: Showpo | Turtleneck: Her Pony | Jeans: The Ragged Priest | Shoes: Puma | Backpack: ASOS | Sunglasses: Boutique in Italy

In winter I love layering oversized jumpers with turtlenecks for a casual look. Not only does it keep you warm, it’s super comfortable as well. I’ve paired the jumpers with mum jeans and sneakers for the ultimate lazy outfit!

Splendour In The Grass 2016

I recently went to the Splendour In The Grass music festival in Byron Bay and it was the most amazing experience! I had the best and craziest time with my friends listening to great music and enjoying the atmosphere.

The festival is known for being incredibly muddy and raining every day but we were so lucky this year and it didn’t rain once! It was actually quite hot and we were so unprepared coming from winter in Melbourne, but we made do with the clothes we had. So, here were my outfits for the 3 days, hope you enjoy!

Day 1: Space Invader

On the first day, I went for a jeans and top look. I’m obsessed with anything mesh and I love this top and jeans combination because they both have patches on them!

Top: The Ragged Priest | Jeans: The Ragged Priest | Bralette: Princess Polly | Shoes: Nike | Sunglasses: Seafolly

Day 2: Back In Black

The second day was the hottest of the three. I went with the lightest weight clothing I brought, sticking to a light t-shirt, bralette and leather-look shorts.

Day 3: Match It Up

Day three was fairly windy so I went with my leggings co-ord and my light bomber jacket to keep warm.
