Choosing the right material is so important when going on a hot, summer holiday. I made the mistake of bringing along a lot of viscose and polyester which I quickly discovered didn’t breathe in the heat wave that I experienced.

Luckily, I had this airy cotton outfit at my disposal which worked perfectly as a light, night time outfit to wear to dinner. Another great alternative is to invest in some good linen items – I bought some shorts and a top in Milos and have been living in them!

Mixing prints is always a good way to spice up your outfit but it doesn’t have to be crazy and clashing. Having subtly different patterns can make a simple outfit look more put together. And having a very neutral colour pallet allows the bag to be the feature of the outfit!
