Top: Princess Polly | Pinafore: Maje | Jacket: Zara | Sneakers: UNIF | Shoulder bag: Saint Laurent
This week was one of my favourite times of year – Melbourne Fashion Week! I love seeing not only the fashion on the runway but also in the crowd. I went with a classic Melbourne look, pairing a black pinafore with a mustard turtleneck and sneakers. And I had to add my YSL shoulder bag to accessorise.
Continuing with my summer series, I have put together some of my essential swimsuits I bring with me to beach holidays.
Ok, so maybe you don’t need to bring all of these. But if you’re like me, you still will!
A strapless bikini top is always a good option on tanning days when you want to avoid those tan lines. I also find them particularly good when my shoulders are burnt and my normal bikini straps won’t cut it.
Colourful Top: Zimmermann | Black Top: Pretty Little Thing | Black Bottoms: Seafolly
I think it’s always a good idea to bring along a one-piece on your beach holiday. It’s a great option when you want to be a bit covered up and it also looks great with shorts or a skirt to go for food after a day at the beach.
One-Piece Left: Zulu and Zephyr | One-Piece Right: Afends
A classic triangle or bralette style bikini is great for when you’re at the beach playing games or just generally messing around. The halter neck or bralette design will keep it perfectly in place regardless of what you might be doing!
Black Bralette: Triangl | Yellow Set: Seafolly | Black Bottoms: Seafolly
The Fun One
I always like to bring along a kind of different, fun piece that I can play around with using accessories, in particular, sunglasses. I love playing around with different colours and styles to make bikinis a bit more fun and fashionable to wear!
Red Set: Sirma Boutique | Sunglasses: Max Mara
I hope this has given you some ideas for your next beach trip!
T-shirt: The Ragged Priest | Dress: Urban Outfitters | Jeans: Dr Denim | Sneakers: Nike
I tend to find it hard to dress up in the middle of winter because actually being warm is a high priority of mine. This outfit really caters to a comfy, warm but interesting look. The long jeans keep your legs warm and with a leather or bomber jacket on top it is a perfect going out outfit for the colder months! Not to mention having a shimmery dress over the top of a jeans and t-shirt outfit really adds a point of interest.
Top: Vintage Slazenger | Mesh Long Sleeve: ASOS | Pleated Pants: Topshop | Puffer Jacket: Uniqlo | Fishnets: ASOS | Sneakers: NO NAME | Earrings: Curated Wholesale | Sunglasses: Dior
I recently went on a trip to Japan and when I was in Tokyo, I had a good shopping day in Harajuku. It was a bit cold so i went with a puffer jacket and mesh top underneath to keep warm. Some of my favourite stores were Kinji for vintage clothing and XLARGE for street fashion.
