Over the next few weeks I will be posting a whole lot of summer stuff as I am currently on holiday in the Greek Islands. To start off my mini summer series I thought I’d share a summer outfit.

There is currently a heat wave in Greece and I have been struggling to find anything that is summery enough in my wardrobe. This outfit has been fantastic for the sunny days with a super airy skirt and light top. Sunglasses and a cap are essential during the day so I paired it with navy accessories to pick up the colour in the skirt. I also really like the brightness of the top to add a real pop of summer colour to the outfit!

Harajuku Shopping

I recently went on a trip to Japan and when I was in Tokyo, I had a good shopping day in Harajuku. It was a bit cold so i went with a puffer jacket and mesh top underneath to keep warm. Some of my favourite stores were Kinji for vintage clothing and XLARGE for street fashion.

Designer Dupes

While I think that buying good quality, sometimes more expensive pieces can be a good investment, some items are just never going to be in my price range.

So here are some cheaper alternatives to some popular items that I love!

Stuart Weitzman | Highland Boot

The Highland Boot from Stuart Weitzman has been crazy popular over winter. However, with a price tag of $1056, these are way out of reach for me. This pair from Betts Shoes, the Seduce, is almost identical. They have a similar heel shape and same tie detail at the top for a fraction of the price. You can pick up this pair for $139.99, saving a massive $916!

Dior | So Real Sunglasses

The Dior So Real Sunglasses are some of the most beautiful sunglasses I have ever seen but are crazy expensive ($600-$700 depending on colour). Many other brands have copied the bridge style and I have found two alternatives that have a similar style to the So Real Sunglasses without the designer price tag.

These identical-looking Bridgeless Arch Brow Bar Sunglasses from F.A.S.O.C are a steal at $18. I think it’s safe to say you won’t be getting the same quality as the Dior originals but if you’re just after a cheap pair with the same look, these are a perfect way to go!

Puma x Rihanna Fenty | Creepers

The Puma X Rihanna Fenty Creeper Trainers In Black have been crazy popular and sold out in no time at all. But with a price tag starting at $173, in my opinion, they are way overpriced. These Satin Lace Up Velvet Flatforms Black from Missguided sell for $52.50, are on sale currently for $22, and look almost identical. They have the same velvet finish and ribbed platform you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference and would be saving $163.50!

I hope these dupes have saved all you savvy shoppers some money!

My Current Wishlist

I am forever clicking onto all my favourite online stores to see what I might want and to get some inspiration for my existing wardrobe. Window shopping online is one of my favourite pastimes when I’m watching TV or procrastinating, so I thought I’d put together a little list of things that I currently want!

UNIF

When I first saw this little see-through Bud Slip dress, all I could think of was ‘festival’. It is so delicate and beautiful and I can imaging layering it with so many things for all sorts of different looks!

Chiara Ferragni

Not only is Chiara Ferragni an amazing blogger, but her collection is flawless as well! These patent leather thigh-high boots ‘Flirting’ with her signature eye on the side are everything to me. From the first moment I saw them I was completely obsessed. If it wasn’t for the price tag of €561 ($828 AUD) I would have bought these a long time ago! But staring at them longingly is good enough for now!

Discount Universe

This limited edition Discount Universe For Life Tee caught my eye as I was browsing through their online store. I love their style but think it is hard to wear on a regular basis (sequins + large graphics + profanities = inappropriate for everyday wear) so I really loved this sweater’s toned down (in comparison with the rest of their stock) colour and design while maintaining a cool DU vibe.

Lazy Oaf

I love menswear as I love to wear everything oversized. These pieces (Not Now Hoodie and Inactive T-Shirt) from Lazy Oaf are the epitome of comfort with cute little graphics and writing – I’m in love! Unfortunately, they are currently sold out; fingers crossed they will be restocked!

Dior

These classic Dior So Real Sunglasses in Bleu Marine and Pink Gold sunglasses have been replicated over and over for the past year or so but nothing can beat the original! I am in love with the rose gold and navy combination and while these have been on my wishlist for a very long time, they might have to stay there just a bit longer!

Reformation

Last but definitely not least is this beautiful Reformation dress. I found this beauty on my hunt for a birthday dress and fell in love with the colour, silkiness and unique shape. It is definitely in the running for my birthday outfit!

Happy window shopping!
